Tomoyuki Ogawa is the current defending Japanese champion, a title he won in 2007 beating his all time rival Kenichi Kuroyama. Riding for the Mitani team with direct factory support from HRC Honda, Gatti - his nickname in Japan - is a very spectacular rider and probably the best one in the World on big steps.

We are delighted to have a rider of such a high level represent our brand in Japan, a key market in trials. He's a really cool guy who works really hard and has a very positive image in the national press.
